The Chinese American Citizens Alliance Foundation of Los Angeles Lodge is please to announce that it is accepting scholarship applications for 2009. Seven $1000 scholarships will be awarded to university students of Chinese descent. Application forms may be downloaded from the Foundation website at www.cacafoundation.org .

Students of Chinese descent studying at a recognized institution of college or university rank in California are welcome to apply. Students must be presently a sophomore and will be a junior in the fall, 2009. The scholarships are awarded primarily based on scholastic achievements. Additional consideration is given to community involvement and extracurricular activities. Applications must be postmarked on or before June 15, 2009. Also, applicants must be available for an in-person interview in Los Angeles, tentatively scheduled on July 18, 2009.
